Tim Olshansky (Class of 03) has kindly offered to organise a get together of USA based old boys in San Francisco in March 2016.
We’ve already received notice from a number of old boys in the US that they would like to attend – and will forward your details to Tim. If you would like to come and haven’t updated your details you can do so here.
Tim has been successful in launching a number of start-ups. Here is a short update on what he has been doing since leaving Sydney Boys:
After graduating from Sydney Boys in ’03, Tim completed a combined science/law degree (BSc. Adv. ’06, LLB (Hons) ’08) at the University of Sydney before moving to San Francisco at the end of 2010.
Along with some friends from university he worked on a startup called Topguest, that was later acquired by a US based travel e-commerce company called Switchfly, formerly EzRez.
After spending some time at Switchfly, he started another company called Worksite, which was acquired by Aconex, an Australian public company, in July 2015.
Tim was recently profiled in Advance, an Australian ex-pat organization about his time in San Francisco. You can read the full text here.
