Rugby is building back up at High due to the impressive work of Head of Rugby, Jack Bowditch, and MIC of Rugby and Old Boy, Viv Paul, as well as recent Old Boy coaches, the rugby committee & parents. There is even a chance that the school will field a fourth grade side this year for the first time since the late 90s.

The key match for the season is the game against Grammar at Grammar, on Saturday August 10th, where we encourage all interested Old Boys to attend. It is also the occasion of the 150 Year Anniversary of Grammar rugby so should be a great crowd. The High First XV currently play in the GPS 3rd XV competition along with the First XV of Sydney Grammar and the First XV of The Armidale School.
