We’re looking ahead to the 2024 GPS Gold Challenge on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th October this year. If you’re from the High class of 1991 or 1992 and would like to take part, please email communications@shsobu.org.au and we will connect you with the High team organisers (led by Dan Chesterman and Ben Whitaker).
For those not familiar with the GPS Gold Challenge, it is an event held every 1-2 years for GPS Old Boys who have just turned 50 or are about to do so. Old Boys from all of the schools compete against one another in a number of activities followed by a large group dinner at the end. It’s a great weekend to reconnect with your classmates and those from the other schools and is ultimately more about the social aspect than the competition!
The activities across the two days are Rowing, Golf & Shooting on Friday 11th October. Then Touch Rugby, Cricket, Basketball, Tennis, Short and Long Distance Running, Debating, Rifle Shooting & Swimming followed by the dinner on Saturday 12th October.
