Hi guys
Some of the Consiglieri captured for posterity in this photo which was taken at the fifty-year form reunion at the Clovelly Surf Club on Saturday the 12th of October 2023.
Left to right, Ian Powell (The Preacher), Neil McGill (Granite Man) , Brian Tucker (The Hit Man), Stuart Kelly (The Horse Whisperer), John Forrester (The Mechanic) and in front Paul Arena (The Don).
The 1973 Sydney High 1st XV GPS Champions and CHS Premiers and to my knowledge the only team in history to win the GPS and the CHS in the Eastern Suburbs.

The GPS Premiership is beginning to lean very
heavily in High's favour, after their great 23-9
victory over the Shore school. Their rivals, St
Ignatius College have now fallen hack to 3rd place
having been beaten by Joeys on Saturday, 17-0. With
3 rounds to play, the championship is still a very
open competition. High plays Kings next Saturday at
Gowan Brae and I am sure that as High wins more support...
